Setting the NVR to a static IP
If you are seeing the NVRs local IP address change frequently then you may wish to set this to a static IP to ensure the camera is able to record to the NVR at all times.
First you should log in to the NVR interface in a web browser (click here for help with this)
Then go to Network, TCP/IP Setup and select "Use the following IP address".
Then you will need to enter the following details.
IP address: This will be the NVRs local IP address, this must not be an IP address that is in use by any other device on your network. We recommend using the NVRs current assigned IP address to prevent any conflicts on the network.
Default gateway: This will usually be your router IP address
Primary and Secondary DNS: You can use your ISP's DNS servers for this, alternatively you can enter the free google DNS servers of 220.127.116.11 and 18.104.22.168 as shown in the image
Once you have entered the details above, click on Apply to save the settings.
