NAS drive not recording?

If you are having trouble recording to your NAS drive it is usually one of the following errors that is preventing this.

The camera must record to the root of the drive in order to save footage, it then creates the folder you have specified as the “store directory” and saves footage here. This must be in the root of the drive, for example if our drive is “D:” and our store directory is "camera1",

D:/camera1

will work, whereas

D:/video/saveddata/camera1

will not work.

If the drive is write protected with a username and password you will need to ensure these are entered into the username and password fields in the camera's Storage Setup page. If not the camera will be blocked from writing to the drive and no data will be saved.
