Having trouble setting up the motion detection page?

The camera's Motion detection page controls the camera's triggers and allows for recording based upon movement as well as any movement alert sent, push notification and emails. If this is set incorrectly it will cause problems with the operation of the camera as it will not be able to process the information it sees correctly and can lead to a loss of recordings or system instability, resulting in the camera rebooting by itself often.

When setting the motion detection the two main things to remember are to set the detection windows so they do not overlap one another and ensure that the sensitivity and threshold sliders are not set to either extreme. 

Setting the Motion detection page up in this way will result in issues for your camera. In the examples below you see on the right an incorrect setup and on the left a setup that is acceptable and will work.
